## Samples and lead times

- One design sample is included with a standard production order. Approval precedes bulk production; additional samples cost extra. A standalone sample service before a minimum-quantity order is unavailable.
- Prototype development targets 2–4 weeks. Bulk production is estimated at 4–6 weeks after sample approval, depending on workload and design.
- The main range is men’s casualwear, with denim, formal shirts, caps and selected women’s casual variants. Casual minimums are design-dependent and start at 50 per design/color; most knitwear designs start at 100 pieces.
  - The prototype target is 2–4 weeks after order, and the bulk target is 4–6 weeks after sample confirmation. Specialist dresses, blouses, lingerie, one-off garments, print on demand, blank stock, standalone samples before a minimum order, fabric-only sales and factory visits are not supported. These ranges are product-dependent estimates. Prototype and bulk clocks are separate; the excluded standalone-sample route does not create a one-piece minimum.
- Hawthorn's FAQ excludes standalone prototypes before a minimum-order commitment and gives a prototype target of 2–4 weeks. Its terms say it may provide or allow one prototype unit for a new design.
  - Ask how that prototype provision applies within the minimum-order project. Written sample approval and complete sizing, design and reference information are required before bulk production. Deposits become nonrefundable once development or sampling starts.
